GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is also known as diammonium hydrogen phosphate. It is off-white or dark gray particles, easy to decompose in humid air, volatile ammonia into ammonium dihydrogen phosphate. The aqueous solution is weakly alkaline, pH8.0. Diammonium phosphate is a kind of high concentration of quick-acting fertilizer, suitable for all kinds of crops and soils, especially suitable for crops that like nitrogen and need phosphorus, can be used as base fertilizer or trailing fertilizer, and is suitable for deep application. Physical Properties:This product is easily soluble in water, less solids after dissolution, suitable for a variety of crops on the nitrogen and phosphorus needs, especially suitable for drought and little rain in the region as a base fertilizer and seed fertilizer.

Diammonium phosphate, an inorganic salt, is a colourless transparent monoclinic crystal or white powder, soluble in water and insoluble in alcohols. Diammonium phosphate has both acidic and basic properties, depending on the environmental conditions in which it is found.
Diammonium phosphate has a wide range of applications in several fields. In the laboratory, it is used in the preparation of buffers and culture media, as a culture nutrient for yeast, and as an analytical reagent for the precipitation of magnesium, zinc, nickel, uranium, etc. and as a pH buffer. In the food industry, diammonium phosphate is used as a food bulking agent, dough regulator, yeast food, bread improver and brewing fermentation additives, can also be used for refined sugar. As a fertiliser, diammonium phosphate is a compound fertiliser containing nitrogen and phosphorus, which is especially suitable for crops that like nitrogen and need phosphorus, and can be used as a base fertiliser or follow-up fertiliser. In the field of agriculture and animal husbandry, it can be used as feed additives for ruminants. In addition, in chemical production, printing and dyeing industry, water treatment and other fields, diammonium phosphate also plays an important role.
However, it should be noted that diammonium phosphate produces toxic nitrogen oxides, phosphorus oxides and ammonia fumes when heated, which are mildly irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, and can cause severe diarrhoea if inhaled or ingested.
